Ekadashi 2024: In Sanatan Dharma, a total of 24 Ekadashi fasts are observed throughout the year. These have great importance in Hindu religion. According to the religious beliefs here, it is said that the followers of Sanatan Dharma must observe the fast of Ekadashi. Worship of Lord Vishnu-Mata Lakshmi is necessary
Pandit Shambhunath Dubey told that Ekadashi originated in the month of Margashirsha itself. Therefore, Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha month is called Utpana Ekadashi. This year the fast of Utpanna Ekadashi will be observed on 26th November. On the day of Ekadashi, one must worship Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi and by listening to Satyanarayan Katha, one gets freedom from sins and increases happiness and prosperity in the house.
Auspicious time of Ekadashi
Utpanna Ekadashi Tithi will start at 02.38 AM on 25th November and will end the next day on 26th November at 03.12 AM. According to Udaya Tithi, the fast of Utpanna Ekadashi will be observed on 26th November only.
Auspicious yoga being formed on the day of Ekadashi
Pandit Dubey says that very auspicious yogas are being created on the day of Utpanna Ekadashi. On this day, a rare combination of Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga is taking place. Besides, Preeti and Ayushman Yoga are also being formed with Hasta Nakshatra. In such a situation, by worshiping Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi on this day, one attains inexhaustible virtuous results.
