Here I would like to say one thing that the dishes prepared during most Indian festivals are quite oily, heavy, spicy and full of calories. Their aroma is such that common people enjoy them, but the problem arises when it goes on the tongue of such people who have been strictly asked to follow dietary restrictions. The result is that these two-four days of bad diet forces them to suffer from some health related problem for a long time. So it becomes very important that the dishes prepared at home during festivals should be such that they have a combination of both taste and health.
This time the recipe I am telling you here, has a lot of nutrition as well as health care. As far as its taste is concerned, it is such that instead of buying sweets from the market or making sweets at home in the traditional way, you can try this new recipe, i.e. Banana Barfi.
This recipe will also benefit you in the fact that by making something new, you can impress your guests with the taste of your cooking. So, make Banana Barfi in this festive season.

Apply some ghee on a plate and pour the banana mixture on it. Spread it well on the plate and keep it in the fridge for one or two hours. Later take it out of the fridge and shape it into square or diamond shapes.
Cut into pieces and enjoy this dish with friends and family.

Celebrations do mean preparing special dishes, but special doesn't have to mean oily or spicy. Banana recipes are inexpensive, easy to prepare, delicious and full of nutrition.
