Such government schools will end in Uttar Pradesh, know what is the plan of Yogi government
Lucknow : In the name of making the education system more functional and viable, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to close such schools and merge them with neighboring schools which have enrollment of less than 50 students. Priyanka said- decision against Dalits and backward people
The decision taken by the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh to close 27,764 primary and junior schools is completely wrong. This step is like snatching away the rights of the children of Dalits, backward classes, poor and deprived sections along with the education sector. This is against their rights. The UPA government had brought the Right to Education Act, under which arrangements were made that a primary school was being opened within a radius of every one kilometer, so that schools were accessible to children of every section. The objective of welfare policies and schemes is not to earn profits but to provide welfare to the public. BJP does not want education to be accessible to children from weaker sections.
