Emphasis on awareness of the importance of sleep
In the instructions, special emphasis has been laid on making students aware of the importance of balanced use of screen time, responsible use of digital devices and adequate quality sleep. Along with this, students will be encouraged to read library books as per the school timetable and during extra time, so that they develop the habit of reading and intellectual development is promoted.
Under the Bagless Day activities in schools, health and nutrition related project work, poster making, painting, debate, essay, quiz, role-play, cricket, drama and other experiential activities will be organized. Through this, students will be able to understand health and nutrition related topics practically and will be inspired to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Effective use of study materials and digital resources developed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) will be ensured in schools.
