Uttarakhand: DM took stock of the arrangements in Muni Ki Reti, gave instructions for the treatment of the sick person staying in the night shelter.

Tehri Garhwal. Tehri Garhwal District Magistrate of Uttarakhand Nitika Khandelwal inspected Muni Ki Reti area on Thursday. During the inspection, he took cognizance of the leaking water tank outside Purnanand parking and directed the concerned officials to get it repaired immediately, so that the general public does not face any kind of problem.

After this, District Magistrate Khandelwal also inspected the night shelter built in Muni Ki Reti. During this time information was received that a sick person was staying in the night shelter. On this, the District Magistrate immediately arranged for a doctor through the Sub-District Magistrate and gave instructions for proper treatment of that person.

The District Magistrate gave instructions to provide all necessary facilities to the needy people staying in night shelters. He said that in view of the winter season, regular arrangements for heaters, blankets, sheets, clean drinking water and cleanliness should be ensured. Besides, instructions were also given to constantly monitor the arrangements of night shelters.

He said that the aim of the administration is that no needy person should become a victim of neglect or inconvenience during the cold season and everyone should get the necessary help on time. During the inspection, CDM Narendranagar Ashish Ghildiyal, EO Muni’s Reti Ankita Joshi, Tehsildar Ayodhya Uniyal and other officers were present.
