Dehradun: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has started accepting online applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMSS) 2024-25. Interested candidates who are aspiring for scholarships can satisfy all the prerequisites set by the SCERT can register for the Uttarakhand NMMSS 2024-25 through the official website at scert.uk.gov.in. The online application window for NMMSS 2024-25 will be available till November 6, 2024.

Parents and students must note that the Uttarakhand NMMS scholarships will be issued to students based on their performance in the entrance exam. The Council will be conducting the NMMS exam on December 23, 2024. The exam will be held in two shifts – shift 1 (11 am to 12:30 pm) and shift 2 (1:30 pm to 3 pm). It is suggested to refer to the official notification of the Uttarakhand NMMS 2024-25 for all details regarding the eligibility criteria, selection process, exam pattern and others.

Step 1: Open the official portal of SCERT at scert.uk.gov.in

Step 2: Search for the online application form link on the homepage

Step 3: Clicking on the NMMS registration form link will open the new page

Step 4: Fill in the Uttarakhand NMMS application form with all details including academic and personal

Step 5: The mandatory documents must be uploaded

Step 6: Complete the application fee process, if any

Step 7: Submit the form

Step 8: Keep a hard copy of the application form for future reference

Every year, the NMMS scholarships are issued for a total of 1 lakh students, of which 1048 scholarships are issued for students belonging to the state of Uttarakhand.
