UV’s Beat Factory debuts with multi-language EP featuring international collaborations
UV’s Beat Factory has launched its first multi-language extended play (EP) titled ‘Stream’, bringing together Hindi, Haryanvi and Punjabi tracks in a five-song project featuring a mix of established and emerging artists.
The EP includes collaborations with Starboy LOC, Rishika UV, Canadian artists JP47, Mad Mix, and international artist Karam Brar, along with contributions from Ashu Twinkle and Ricky Singh. The project has been released via UV’s Beat Factory and produced by Preeti Das.
Multi-genre and multilingual approach
‘Stream’ comprises five tracks, each accompanied by a music video. The rollout follows a staggered release strategy, with a new video scheduled to launch every 21 days. The release cycle began on 21 January with the jukebox and the first video, “Jack N Jill.” This is followed by “Katilana” on 12 February and “Pari” on 21 March.
Other tracks on the EP include “Daaku,” a Haryanvi number, and “Jatta Tu,” a Punjabi track featuring JP47, Mad Mix and Karam Brar, incorporating an urban-influenced sound and international collaborations.
The project also marks the debut of Rishika UV, while Starboy LOC, known for his hip-hop presence and high-energy performances, features prominently across the EP.
Statements from artists and label
Speaking on the launch, a spokesperson from UV’s Beat Factory said, “‘Stream’ is a milestone for us as it marks UV’s Beat Factory’s first-ever multi-language EP. The project reflects our vision of creating inclusive music that crosses languages, generations, and geographies while spotlighting both established and emerging talent.”
Starboy LOC added, “We wanted to keep this EP fresh and full of different moods. Every song has its own vibe. ‘Stream’ is really about trying new sounds and just having fun with music, and that’s what makes this project special for me.”
JP47 and Mad Mix also commented on their collaboration, “We wanted this EP to be something truly different. Collaborating with UV Beat Factory allowed us to create a unique urban sound, and for us, no EP is ever complete without a Punjabi track. That’s how ‘Jatta Tu’ was born. The male and female vocal combination brings a special energy, and the song is all about vibe, groove, and emotion. We’ve given the video an urban, Canadian-style look to give it a strong international appeal, a track we believe will find its place in everyone’s playlist.”
Label’s first major release
‘Stream’ marks the first release under the UV’s Beat Factory banner. The project is led by Gurneet Singh Sahani, the label’s A&R and manager to Ammy Virk.
The EP is currently available across major streaming platforms.
