Bihar News: A unique and much talked about case of police action has come to light from Vaishali district of Bihar. Here, to catch the accused who had been absconding for a long time in the murder case, the police adopted a method which attracted the attention of the entire area. In Imayatpur village of Bhagwanpur police station area, the police reached the house of the accused with a band and openly gave the message of surrender.

In fact, in the murder case, an order for attachment-confiscation action was received from the court against the accused who were absconding for the last six months. After this the police team reached the village with drums and band. As soon as the police and band party entered the village, people were surprised. Usually, this kind of scene is seen in weddings, but when the police reached the accused’s house in this style, the entire village gathered.

Why did this action happen?

The police warned the family members of the accused in clear words that they should ask the accused to surrender in the police station or court in time. Along with this, the court notice was also pasted at the house of the accused. Police say that this action has been taken on the orders of the court and its purpose is to put legal pressure on the absconding accused.

According to the police, Vikas Kumar, Vivek Kumar, Dinesh Kumar and Savitri Devi, residents of Imayatpur village, are accused of murder and have been out of police custody for several months. Despite repeated notices and raids, these accused were not coming forward. In such a situation, the police took this strict and symbolic step while remaining within the ambit of the law.

What did the police station chief say on the matter?

Bhagwanpur police station chief told the media that if the accused do not surrender soon, action will be taken against them for attachment and confiscation of property. He said that the police is in no mood to spare the criminals and those who run away from the law will be punished at any cost.
