Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: The prototype of Vande Bharat sleeper train has been revealed. This train is going to be very special. It is planned to be made operational by November 15 and will be sent to Lucknow RDSO for testing and trials. At present, 78 Vande Bharat trains are running as intercity express trains across the country.

Vande Bharat Sleeper train will be fully air-conditioned like Rajdhani Express. It will have 16 sleeper coaches. It is designed for long range. It has been prepared at a cost of Rs 120 crore. The design has been prepared by the engineers of ICF and the rake has been manufactured by BEML. This rake comprises 11 3AC, 4 2AC and one first class coach. The total capacity of this train is 823 passengers.

How special is this train compared to Rajdhani Express:

motion – Vande Bharat sleeper train can reach a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. It can pick up speed faster than Rajdhani Express. This will reduce the travel time of passengers.

comfortable- The beds in Vande Bharat sleeper trains are designed with better cushioning. This is better than the beds available in the capital. Additionally, extra cushioning is provided on the sides of each bed for better sleep.

Upper berth – Indian Railways has said that the new Vande Bharat Sleeper train has been designed keeping the convenience of passengers as priority. Compared to Rajdhani, easy stairs have been made to reach the upper berth.

Automatic Train- Vande Bharat Sleeper is an automatic train. It has driver cabins at both ends. It does not require a locomotive to pull the train. Rajdhani Express requires a locomotive. Due to this design, turnaround time at end stations is reduced. This increases efficiency.

Automatic doors- Vande Bharat sleeper train will have automatic entry and exit gates for passengers. This will be controlled by the driver. Additionally, there will also be automatic interconnecting doors between coaches, which will further enhance the convenience and safety of passengers.

toilet- Vande Bharat sleeper train has bio-vacuum toilet system. It has modular touch-free fitting. There will be a shower cubicle facility for passengers traveling in the first AC coach.

Railway officials Told that passengers will get a shock-free and smooth travel experience in Vande Bharat sleeper trains. This experience will be better than Rajdhani trains.
