Vanessa Trump demands Tiger Woods correct behavior to save relationship following DUI arrest

On Saturday, the American golf legend was arrested and faces charges that include DUI, causing property damage and refusing a mandatory test. Authorities allege Woods was driving at a high rate of speed when he attempted to overtake a trailer on a public road, resulting in a rear-end collision that caused his SUV to flip over.

While Woods passed a breathalyzer test at the scene, he refused a urine test. Law enforcement experts suspect the golfer may have been under the influence of drugs or other substances at the time of the crash. After spending approximately eight hours in police custody, Woods was bailed out by a friend.

The real challenge for Woods was explaining the situation to his girlfriend Vanessa. The former daughter-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump was reportedly nearby and witnessed the aftermath of the incident.

“She’s not happy at all,” a source close to the couple told Daily Mail. “She’s both disappointed and a little bit p***ed, if I’m being honest. It’s a definite red flag and she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out, and that she’s going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around.”

The arrest occurred just days after the couple made a public appearance together at the TGL final in West Palm Beach. The accident has disrupted both of their lives, with sources indicating that Woods is deeply remorseful. A source noted that Woods is shocked and embarrassed by the situation and wants to make amends.

President Donald Trump expressed sympathy when questioned about the incident. He referred to the golfer as a close friend while acknowledging the personal struggles Woods is currently facing.

“Amazing man,” Trump said, as quoted by People. “But some difficulty. I don’t want to talk about it.”

Woods is also bracing for a legal battle with Florida prosecutors. Attorney Matthew Olszewski suggested that authorities might take a strict approach to deter future offenses, regardless of Woods’ celebrity status.

“He’s in for a dogfight, in my opinion,” Olszewski told New York Post. “They’re going to be trying to prove a message and what bigger message to prove. Even if you’re Tiger Woods, you do this in our county and we’re going to slam you.”

Legal experts point out that Woods’ history with similar incidents could put him at a disadvantage. In 2017, he was arrested for DUI after being found asleep at the wheel with a mix of prescription drugs in his system. Later, in 2021, he suffered severe injuries to his right leg in a devastating solo car crash.

The timing of the arrest is particularly sensitive for the 15-time major champion. Woods was reportedly considering a return to professional competition at the upcoming Masters Tournament starting on April 9. He was also actively formulating long-term career plans, including potentially captaining the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2027. However, this latest scandal can affect his ambitions.
