The recognition comes as Vietnamese employees place increasing emphasis on workplace conditions, professional development, and their ability to adapt to technological change.
A 2025 employment survey by Coc Coc Research and Viec Lam 24 found that 76.9% of Vietnamese employees were willing to trade part of their income for a healthier work environment. Stability, psychological safety, and a positive workplace were among the factors influencing employee satisfaction and retention.
The survey also found that more than 80% of employees were using AI in their work. However, many expressed concerns about job displacement and the pressure to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies, while expecting employers to provide AI and digital upskilling opportunities.
Against this backdrop, attracting and retaining talent increasingly requires businesses to create workplaces where employees can develop new capabilities, contribute to business objectives, and adapt alongside organizational change.
Building workforce capabilities
Vantive said its workforce strategy is based on the view that business performance is closely linked to employee development and engagement.
The company focuses on creating a working environment where employees are encouraged to make decisions, collaborate across functions, and contribute to business outcomes.

With a 70-year legacy in kidney care innovation, it operates under the mission of “Extending Lives and Expanding Possibilities.”
In Vietnam, Vantive invests in leadership capabilities, workforce effectiveness, and organizational development.
Through global learning partnerships and leadership development programs, employees receive training in commercial, strategic, and leadership skills to help them respond to changes in the healthcare sector.
Vantive also promotes what it calls a “Culture of Belonging,” aimed at supporting employees’ physical and mental well-being while encouraging participation in workplace decisions.
It continues to offer hybrid working arrangements in response to employees’ demand for greater flexibility in balancing their professional and personal lives. It is also investing in new skills and capabilities to help employees adapt to technological developments and changing customer and patient needs.
The company said its approach aligns with the theme of the HR Asia Awards 2026, “People First Always,” which highlights the role of employees as AI and digital transformation reshape workplaces.
Tran Thuy Duong, Country Head of Vantive Vietnam Healthcare, said sustainable business performance depends on an organization’s ability to develop and empower its workforce.
“We believe sustainable business success is built on the strength of our people. Our focus has always been to create an environment where employees can grow, collaborate, innovate, and perform at their best,” she said.
“When people are empowered and aligned behind a shared purpose, they deliver better outcomes for our patients, customers, and the communities we serve. These awards reflect the culture and commitment our teams have built together.”
According to the company’s employee experience survey, the company recorded a 96% employee engagement score and a 96% manager effectiveness score while maintaining business growth in recent years.
The company said these results support its approach of linking employee development and engagement with organizational performance.
