Ever since the makers released the trailer, the film has caught the attention of fans and film lovers.

The trailer starts with Varalakshmi waiting at the police station. We learn that his daughter Saraswati has gone missing. “I dropped him off at school myself, but when I went to pick him up, they said he was not there,” says the actress.

Meanwhile, Priyamani and Kishore also find themselves in the same predicament. Priyamani asks the school watchman that her daughter has not come yet. The watchman replies that everyone has left and there is no one in the school. Then we see that both Priyamani and Kishore are frantically searching for their daughter inside the school.

The police soon come into action and begin questioning, while Varalakshmi says that her daughter will not go anywhere without informing them. Without evidence, Varalakshmi seems helpless. We then see Varalakshmi, after several troubled moments, approach Prakash Raj, who plays lawyer Ramanujam in the film. Initially she is hesitant to take his case as there is no evidence, but we see that he accepts her and appears on her behalf in court. We realize that a crime has been committed and even after a long legal battle, Varalakshmi will not get justice. The trailer ends with Varalakshmi buying a gun and learning to use it. She says, “Not every woman will be Saraswati. If need be, she will also become Kali.”

This film has been produced by Varalakshmi herself along with her sister Pooja under the banner of Dosa Diaries.

Apart from Varalakshmi herself, the film stars many actors like Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, Radhika Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra.
