Varanasi Gyanvapi Masjid case: The hearing of Varanasi's Gyanvapi Mosque case has been completed. Now the court will give its verdict on October 25. The debate in this case which has been going on for the last 33 years has been completed. After this the court reserved its decision. Let us tell you that this case of Lord Visheshwar vs. Anjuman Arrangements Mosque Committee has been going on since 1991. The Hindu side had sought permission from the court to grant them the right to worship and build a temple in the Gyanvapi complex.

Let us tell you that the arguments from the Muslim side in the 1991 case related to Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi have been completed. In this case, two lawyers representing the Muslim side – Anjuman Arrangement Committee and Waqf Board presented their arguments, after which the Hindu side submitted copies of several High Court and Supreme Court precedents before the court. In this 33 year old case, both the parties had already presented their views.

Court will give its verdict on October 25

The verdict on Varanasi Gyanvapi Mosque is to be pronounced on October 25, the hearing of this case was completed on Saturday. Let us tell you that this case was filed regarding the construction of a new temple in Gyanvapi and giving the right to worship to Hindus. This case has been pending for 33 years and on Saturday the lawyer of the Muslim side completed his arguments.

Hindu side's lawyer Vijay Shankar Rastogi has said that before this order of the court in the Gyanvapi case, the lawyers of the Hindu side were cross-examined on the order of Vadamitra to conduct a survey from the Archeology Department.

The work of Survey of India (ASI) has been completed. The Muslim side Anjuman Arrangement Committee had presented its arguments on this on October 8 itself.
