With this, Varun Chakraborty has become the second Indian bowler to take the fastest 50 wickets in T20 International. Earlier, Kuldeep Yadav had accomplished this feat.

Kuldeep Yadav had touched the figure of 50 wickets in only 30 T20 International matches. At the second position was fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who had completed 50 wickets in 33 matches, but now Varun Chakraborty has left Arshdeep Singh behind and has achieved this feat in the 32nd match.

Varun Chakraborty in this match being played against South Africa Donovan Ferreira took his first wicket. After this, South Africa’s star all-rounder Marco Yansen was sent to the pavilion. Varun in this match Took 2 wickets for just 11 runs in his 4 over spell. Apart from Varun, Harshit Rana, Kuldeep Yadav and Arshdeep Singh took 2 wickets each. Whereas Hardik Pandya got a success. South Africa has set a target of 118 runs for India to win.
