New Delhi: Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is currently busy shooting for 'Border 2'. And he is making sure to take training from real-life heroes for the film. On the occasion of the 77th Indian Army Day on January 15, Varun took to Instagram to salute the soldiers in uniform. He shared some pictures from the sets of the film, where he spent the entire day interacting with the soldiers. He captioned the post, “Honoring the real heroes of India on this #ArmyDay.

Proud to be with them. #Border2 #Preparation.” Earlier in the day, her 'Border 2' co-star Sunny Deol also paid tribute to Indian soldiers. Deol shared several videos and pictures from his trip on Instagram. In a video, actors and soldiers can be heard chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai”.
In other pictures, Sunny was seen interacting with soldiers, posing for photographs and even arm-wrestling with them. In the caption he wrote, “Salute to the courage, sacrifice and unwavering dedication of our heroes then, now and always. Happy Indian Army Day! #HindustanZindabad #ArmyDay.” Army Day commemorates the service and sacrifice of the men and women who defend the country, this year's celebration reflects India's continued commitment towards technological progress and self-reliance.
