The release date of Varun Dhawan’s film Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has been changed again, know when it will hit the theaters.

Mumbai The release of the film Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai, directed by David Dhawan, has been postponed for the second time. Actor Varun Dhawan is in the lead role in the film. The makers have announced a new theatrical release date of 12th June 2026. The film was initially scheduled to release on June 5, 2026. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on April 10, 2026, which was rescheduled earlier this year.

The makers of the film have confirmed this latest change through an official statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday. In the statement, the team made it clear that this decision has been taken after reviewing recent developments and the larger situation of the industry. It was written in the statement that we would like to clarify that our film Jawaani Hai To Ishq Hona Hai was originally scheduled to release on June 5. We had announced this date several months ago. However, given recent developments and the current situation, we felt it would be better to shift our release. The producers also stressed the importance of collaboration within the film industry. The makers said that we strongly believe that it is always good for the industry when filmmakers support each other instead of unnecessarily competing on the same date. In this spirit of unity, we have decided to postpone the release of ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ to June 12 and bring our film to the audiences a week later. This film is being produced by Ramesh Taurani and directed by David Dhawan. Along with Varun Dhawan, the film stars Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Manish Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunky Pandey, Rakesh Bedi and Ali Asgar in important roles. Interestingly, the title of the film is inspired by a hit track from David Dhawan’s 1999 blockbuster Biwi Number One, which starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Sushmita Sen.
