Answering the questions of SP MLA, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that diesel prices in UP are the lowest among about 20 states including West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu. VAT on diesel in UP is also much less as compared to other states. Therefore this question of the SP member is baseless. At the same time, efforts are being made to increase the income of farmers and reduce costs. Many more schemes are also being worked on for the farmers from which the farmers are benefiting.
He said that SP people talk about building roads but will the road be built out of thin air? For this, land is taken and after talking to the farmers, they are compensated at the market rate. Attacking SP, he said that the people of UP cannot forget how bullets were fired for Anil Ambani in Noida and Ghaziabad during the SP government. This is Yogi Government, after talking to the farmers, they are given compensation at market rates.

UP government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar attacked SP and said that their job is to oppose. If you don’t protest then how will you ask for votes in the elections?
