VB-G RAM G Bill approved : New Delhi : President Draupadi Murmu (Draupadi Murmu) has approved the Bharat Ji Ram Ji Bill, 2025. The government has approved the Development India Employment and Livelihood Mission (Grameen) or VB-G Ram-G Bill, 2025 instead of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA). MNREGA has now been replaced by G Ram Ji due to President’s approval. The Ji Ram-ji Bill was converted into law.

In this year’s winter session (Winter Session) The Jee Ram Ji bill created a lot of controversy. The name of this scheme has been changed by making some modifications in the earlier scheme MNREGA. Mahatma Gandhi’s name in MGNREGA was deleted. Instead the name Ram Ji has been inserted in the name. Disgruntled by this, the Congress started a fierce fight in the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. This bill was first passed in the Lok Sabha. After this the Bill was also passed in the Rajya Sabha. The bill was discussed in the Rajya Sabha for six hours. It was approved by voice vote after the reply of the Minister of Agriculture. Several amendments were proposed, but the House rejected them.

The Developed India Employment Guarantee and Livelihood Mission Rural i.e. Ji Ram Ji Bill has been signed by President Draupadi Murmu. This Act, which replaces MNREGA scheme, will provide 125 days of employment to every family in rural areas in a financial year. Last week, both the Houses of Parliament passed this bill. The objectives of this Act are self-reliance, prosperity, inclusive development and empowerment in rural areas. The press release of the Ministry of Rural Development has said that this Act will be a milestone in the development of rural India.

Based on Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India 2047

The G Ramji Bill is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India 2047. It aims to increase employment, livelihood and agricultural productivity in rural areas. It increases the annual employment guarantee from 100 days to 125 days. Emphasis is placed on spatial planning, labor protection and integration of schemes. It aims to strengthen rural income security by integrating flagship schemes and balancing agricultural employment. The government says the law will promote wage employment opportunities in rural areas and also focus on environmental protection and better use of local resources.
