Vedan soy sauce receives international taste award in Belgium
The award is an internationally recognized certification in the food industry and is based on evaluations conducted by a panel of chefs and culinary experts.
According to Vedan, the soy sauce was assessed by more than 200 chefs and food professionals from over 20 countries. The evaluation covered criteria including first impression, aroma, taste, texture and aftertaste.
Products must achieve a minimum score of 70% to qualify for certification.

This is the second consecutive year Vedan Vietnam has been recognized by the International Taste Institute. In 2025, the company received Superior Taste Awards for its pork seasoning and mushroom-vegetable seasoning products.
The company said its soy sauce achieved a score well above the certification threshold.
Ni Chih Hao, general director of Vedan Vietnam, said the award reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance product quality.
“This award motivates Vedan to continue improving product quality and remain a trusted companion in Vietnamese family meals,” he said.

According to the company, its soy sauce is produced from natural ingredients using biotechnology-based manufacturing processes and complies with international food safety standards, including FSSC 22000 and HACCP certifications.
Vedan said product quality and sustainable development remain central to its long-term strategy, which focuses on providing safe and high-quality food products.
Founded in Vietnam more than three decades ago, Vedan will mark its 35th year of operations in the country in 2026.
The company said recognition from both domestic and international organizations reflects its efforts to strengthen product quality and expand the presence of Vietnamese seasoning products in international markets.
