Vedang Raina won laurels for his portrayal in Jigra in 2024, while Ananya Panday dazzled the audience with her roles in CTRL and Call Me Bae. It has now been revealed that these two young stars will collaborate on a film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, who has produced a number of well-known love stories.
A recent article in Filmfare suggested that Ananya Panday and Vedang Raina would work together on an Imtiaz Ali-directed romance film. Both actors have participated in look tests or tryouts for the movie, but they haven’t been casted yet, a source told the site.
“Some big names from Bollywood have been approached for this film,” said the source. The insider added that other celebrities are also being considered and that the project is expected to be a huge one.
Even though the specifics are still being finalized, the portal’s source stated that they were certain Vedang and Ananya will co-star in the movie.
Ananya Pandey is set to appear in an untitled period film with R. Madhavan and Akshay Kumar, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi-directed film. It is expected to release on March 14, 2025.
She also has Chand Mera Dil with Kill fame Lakshya. In addition, she has Season 2 of the comedy-drama series Call Me Bae.
Vedang Raina, meanwhile, has not yet revealed the details of his next ventures.
