The makers of the upcoming crime comedy starring Venkatesh Daggubati revealed the film’s title on Thursday – Sankranthik Vasthunam. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is confirmed to join the Sankranthi release race. The makers made the announcement with a first look poster featuring the three leads. The team also recently announced that 90 per cent of the shoot is complete with dubbing also wrapped up.
Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sankrathiki Vasthunam is billed as a triangular love story. Interestingly, the comedy is clashing with Dil Raju’s another release Game Changer, directed by Shankar and starring Ram Charan. Cinephiles are anticipating an entertaining season of films during the festival with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s action film directed by Bobby Kolli arriving in the same time period.
Sankrathiki Vasthunam also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as Venkatesh’s former girlfriend, and Aishwarya Rajesh as his wife. Upendra Limaye and Rajendra Prasad are also part of the cast. Bheems Ceciroleo composes the music for the film while Sameer Reddy cranks the camera. AS Prakash takes care of production design.
S Krishna and G Adhinarayana serve as co-writers of the film. Tammiraju is the editor, and V Venkat is the action director. Sankrathiki Vasthunam is awaited by fans of the actor as actor Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi’s previous outings, F2 (2019) and F3 (2022) were successes at the box office.
