Amid protests against Bangladesh in many parts of India including Delhi, Bangladesh has expressed concern about the security of its diplomatic institutions in India. Bangladesh summoned the Indian High Commissioner after the incidents in New Delhi and Siliguri. The Bangladesh Foreign Ministry said the violence and threats against diplomatic premises are a violation of international norms. India rejected the allegations of security lapse and said that the protest in New Delhi was short-lived and there was no threat.
