Suspended Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir on Saturday (December 6, 2025) laid the foundation stone of a mosque in the name of Babri Masjid at Rezinagar in Murshidabad district of West Bengal amid tight security. Vishwa Hindu Parishad has given a strong reaction on this. VHP leader Vinod Bansal has said that if Hindus are attacked anywhere under the cover of Babri, then Humayun Kabir, Chief Minister Mamata and the state administration will be responsible. Let us tell you that more than 40 thousand guests and 20 thousand local people participated in this entire program. In this program, people from different places also reached Beldanga with bricks. By the time the entire program was over, around 2 lakh people from the Muslim community had participated in it.
Bansal said, ‘There is no blood of Babar in Humayun Kabir, but it seems that the spirit of that foreign invader has definitely infiltrated. The same soul is also inspiring that fundamentalist to easily collect petro dollars and zakat money sitting at home by insisting on building Babri Masjid. Besides, he also seems to be trying to become the Jinnah of Bengal by exploiting the radical Jihadi vote bank.
‘If anything happens, Bengal government will be responsible’
He said that under the cover of this Babri, if any mischief, nuisance, violence or frenzy breaks out against Hindus anywhere in the country including Bengal, then the responsibility for it will be on Humayun Kabir, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her government. It would be good if the Union Home Ministry and the State Governor can control such unruly mentality in time.
‘This is contempt of the Supreme Court’
He said that he is openly disrespecting the unanimous decision of the Honorable Supreme Court of 2019 in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple case. He is also doing cheap politics of creating communal tension in the entire country including Bengal by provoking his Jihadi group. Someone tell this Mir Baki, who is zero in the history, justice and public sentiments of the country, that Babri has already fallen to dust 33 years ago. Babar’s tomb is in Afghanistan. If you have to build Babri then go there and build it. On the other hand, the decision on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi has now become the final truth of the world.
‘Babri’s poison is being sown’
He said that the poison being sown in the name of Babri against the Hindus of Bengal, already suffering from the terror of Bangladeshi infiltrators and Jihadi fundamentalists, can easily be understood to have very serious adverse consequences on the law and order situation in the state.
‘State government should take strict action’
The VHP leader said that if the state government really respects the law, then it should immediately take strict action to stop this misdeed of the Mughal-loving MLA. The faith of crores of Hindus is not a political toy with which any mad MLA can play with to run his Muslim appeasement shop.
