Rahimabad, Lucknow. For complaining about lakhs of rupees in development works, a youth resident of Bahir village was beaten severely by the village head representative. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police has started investigation.

Let us tell you that the victim Bhagwandin, a resident of Bahir village under Rahimabad police station area, has filed a complaint at the police station alleging that Anees Ahmed, husband of village head Reshma of Gram Panchayat Bahir and the secretary have together diverted all the government funds like hand pump repair and rebor and in the name of MNREGA. But lakhs of rupees have been embezzled. Alleging this, the villagers had together given a complaint letter to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government.

To investigate which, there was a MNREGA investigation meeting of the Gram Panchayat on Monday, which was organized by the head of the primary school in Bagwara village. In which brothers Ajay Kumar and Ajit Kumar and other villagers were present. After some time, the door of the school was closed. Inside the school, around 15 unknown people including head husband Anees, brother Mangu, nephew name unknown, two sons of the head husband – Ranu and Shanu and nephew Fannu alias Soeb entered the school. They dragged him out of the car, made him run out on the road, beat him up, used caste based abuses, threatened to kill him and said that if he complained again, it would not be good. During this time, Lokpal MNREGA officer was present.

On the other hand, the victim Suman (female mate), a resident of Bahirgaon, has filed a complaint at the police station alleging that on Monday, the Lokpal MNREGA officer had come to investigate the work done in the Gram Panchayat, all the officers were present in the primary school Bagwara and the applicant was also on the spot. And was cooperating with the authorities in the investigation.

Then the opposition Bhagwandin, Ajay Kumar, Ajit Kumar, all residents of village Bahir, suddenly came to the school around 1:00 pm on Monday afternoon and during the ongoing meeting between the officials, the above opposition members started bullying and hooliganizing me and started beating me up by abusing me. Started and said that you have registered your attendance under fake MNREGA whereas all the aspects of the case are being investigated by the higher officials. About 25 Labor women and men were present in the said meeting. All of them were beaten and abused by the opposition and when chaos broke out in the meeting, the opposition ran away from the spot, threatening to kill them. Rahimabad police has started investigation on the complaint received from both the parties.
