Video: Illegal tomb was built on government land… Baba’s bulldozer run in Deoria district after court order
Deoria: The process of demolishing the tomb of Abdul Ghani Shah Baba in Deoria city of Uttar Pradesh was started on Sunday. This tomb was built by illegal encroachment on the government barren land near the railway overbridge. As per the order of the SDM court, the administration started the demolition process by sending three bulldozers to the spot. Police and administrative officials were also present on the spot, so that the action could be conducted peacefully.

In fact, the administration clarified that this action is being taken completely as per the orders of the court. There was a dispute going on regarding the tomb for a long time and the hearing in this matter continued in the SDM and ASDM Sadar Court. The court made it clear in its decision that the tomb was built illegally on government land and it was necessary to remove it.
The tomb is built on government barren land
One party had filed a suit against Mazar in the SDM court. During the hearing, the court found that the land on which the tomb is built is government barren land. Apart from this, no map of the tomb was passed, which was the subject of a separate case. In both the cases the Mazar Committee did not get any relief. The court directed that the Mazar Committee itself should remove this illegal construction, to which the committee agreed.

Action taken after MLA’s complaint
BJP MLA from Deoria Sadar Shalabh Mani Tripathi had given a written complaint to the Chief Minister regarding the Mazar issue. He had alleged that this tomb is built on government land and illegal activities take place here. After the MLA’s complaint, the administration took the matter seriously and took the court action forward.
Three bulldozers reached the spot at three o’clock
In compliance with the court order, three bulldozers reached the spot at around 3.30 pm on Sunday and the work of demolishing the tomb was started. Administrative officers and police forces were also present, so that the action could be completed in a peaceful and orderly manner. Officials say that in future also necessary action will be taken as per the instructions of the court.
