In the IPL 2026 match being played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Avesh Khan gave a big blow to LSG with his tremendous ball. He clean bowled Rinku Singh on a ball which was almost impossible to play. After taking the wicket, Avesh celebrated enthusiastically.

In this match of IPL 2026 being played at Eden Gardens on Thursday (April 9), Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Avesh Khan dismissed Kolkata Knight Riders vice-captain and star batsman Rinku Singh with a ball that impressed everyone.

This incident happened in the 14th over when KKR’s innings seemed to be stable, but as soon as the set batsmen were out, the team’s rhythm started deteriorating. Meanwhile, Avesh Khan bowled a brilliant ball in his spell, which went straight to the stumps.

Rinku Singh could not understand this ball and just swung the bat without any special footwork, but the ball dodged him and hit straight into the stumps. It was a clean bowl and Rinku had to return to the pavilion after scoring 4 runs in just 7 balls. After taking the wicket, Avesh Khan gave a strong reaction, which has gone viral on social media.

If we talk about the match, Kolkata Knight Riders batted first and scored 181 runs. Captain Ajinkya Rahane (41 runs 24 balls) and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (45 runs 33 balls) laid the foundation of the innings and made a brilliant partnership of 84 runs in 52 balls for the second wicket. After this, Cameron Green (32 runs, 24 balls) and Rovman Powell (39 runs, 24 balls) took over the innings and made an unbeaten 70-run partnership in 40 balls for the fifth wicket, taking the team to a challenging score.
