Unnao rape victim and her family staged a protest at India Gate today in protest against the bail granted to Sengar, but this protest could not last long. Delhi Police removed the victim and her mother from the protest site. When UP government minister OP Rajbhar was asked about this, he said that when the court has asked Sengar not to go within five kilometers of the victim’s house, then where is anyone unsafe? What is the aggrieved party doing in Delhi right now? What is the need for protest in Delhi?

Meanwhile, when a journalist asked him whether the police had removed the victim and her family from India Gate, Rajbhar replied that but her home is Unnao. As soon as he said this, Rajbhar started laughing loudly.

Is this the Yogi model?

Congress leader Lallan Kumar, while posting a video on X Post, wrote that the laughter of Yogi government minister Omprakash Rajbhar on the question of Unnao rape victim is not just insensitivity but arrogance of power. The laughter of the minister, justice in Yogi government is a joke and the pain of the victim is entertainment. Is this the Yogi model?

However, despite this, Sengar’s immediate release does not seem possible as he has also been convicted in the murder of the victim’s father and is serving a ten-year sentence in this case. In such a situation, he will remain in jail for now. The minor victim of Unnao rape case was abducted and raped by Kuldeep Sengar between 11 and 20 June 2017. After this it was sold for Rs 60 thousand. Later the victim was recovered from Makhi police station area. The allegation is also that the victim was continuously threatened by the police officers and pressured to remain silent on the instructions of Sengar. After this, an FIR was registered under sections of the POCSO Act including rape, kidnapping and criminal intimidation. Kuldeep Sengar was arrested following the order of Allahabad High Court.
