VIDEO: Vaibhav Suryavanshi showed ‘Dhoni style’, hit sixes not once but twice with helicopter shot

In the IPL 2026 match being played between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit two brilliant sixes, giving a glimpse of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s famous helicopter shot. During this, he targeted bowlers like Arshdeep Singh and Lockie Ferguson.

In the 40th match of IPL 2026 being played on Tuesday (April 28) at New Chandigarh Stadium, 15-year-old young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again surprised everyone with his batting. This time he reminded everyone of Mahendra Singh Dhoni with his shot.

Lockie Ferguson was bowling in the second over of the innings. On the fourth ball of the over, Ferguson bowled a full length delivery, on which Suryavanshi played a helicopter shot using tremendous wrists. The ball went straight over mid-wicket for a six. This shot was absolutely in Dhoni style, which made the fans dance.

After this, Suryavanshi repeated the same feat against Arshdeep Singh in the fourth over. On the very first ball of the over, he played another helicopter shot and sent the ball over mid-wicket for a six.
