Sarfaraz Khan reminded Javed Miandad, gave fun to fans by doing famous monkey jump

By scoring a century in the second innings of the first Test match against New Zealand, Sarfaraz Khan not only Indian team not only made him return to the match but also told the world that he Indian team Deserve a solid place in. Apart from scoring a century in this match, Sarfaraz remained in the headlines for another reason. Sarfaraz not only celebrated enthusiastically after scoring his century but in the middle of the match he also reminded the fans of Javed Miandad's famous monkey jump.

The young batsman copied Miandad's famous monkey jump on the fourth day while batting with Rishabh Pant. This incident was seen when Sarfaraz played a shot in the gap and Rishabh Pant wanted two runs, but Sarfaraz Khan refused and was seen jumping like a monkey on the pitch to send his partner back from half the pitch.

Pant fortunately reached the crease on time and was saved from being run out. New Zealand wicketkeeper Tom Blundell failed to hit the stumps despite receiving an excellent throw from the fielder. It is noteworthy that Javed Miandad had entertained the fans by doing monkey jump in the match between India and Pakistan in the 1992 ODI World Cup.

Let us tell you that on the fourth day of the match, 26-year-old Sarfaraz Khan, along with Rishabh Pant, maintained his aggressive stance and completed his first Test century in just 110 balls on the morning of the fourth day. The interesting thing is that out of Sarfaraz Khan's 100 runs, only two runs came in the gap between wide long-off and long-on, which shows his aggressive batting style. The Mumbaikar's century included 13 fours and three sixes.
