Vietnamese club among world’s 13 unbeaten football teams this season

According to current statistics, these unbeaten teams include European giants PSG (France) and Juventus (Italy) from the top five leagues (England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain), alongside clubs from mid-tier and lower leagues globally.

In the 2024-2025 V. League, Hong Linh Ha Tinh (HLHT) has gone 10 matches without a loss, recording three wins and seven draws. Led by coach Nguyen Thanh Cong, the team are currently fifth on the table with 16 points, trailing league leaders Thanh Hoa FC by six points, though HLHT played one less match.

HLHT’s unbeaten run has surprised many, as the club have usually battled relegation in recent seasons and are not traditionally regarded as a powerhouse like Hanoi FC, Cong An Ha Noi or Nam Dinh FC.

Their next match is scheduled for Jan. 24, where they will host Hai Phong FC in round 11 of the V. League.
