Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke the world record.: Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a victory in the first match of the National One Day Hazare Trophy, which began on Wednesday. In the plate group match at Ranchi, Vaibhav put up a good attack against Arunachal Pradesh. He scored 190 runs in just 84 balls. In this he hit 15 sixes and 16 fours. He also completed his maiden List A century in just 35 balls. Became the second fastest Indian batsman to score a century in List A cricket. He also achieved this alchemy at the age of only 14 years and 272 days. Also, Vaibhav achieved a feat in the history of List A cricket which no batsman has been able to achieve in the last 62 years. Also, he scored 190 runs at a young age and played an even more memorable performance.

Dropped AB de Villiers behind…

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Not only did he become India’s second fastest List A century scorer, but more importantly, he also became the fastest batsman to score 150 runs in the nearly 62-year history of List A cricket. Vaibhav has also done this at the youngest age. Earlier, this feat was held by AB de Villiers. AB de Villiers hit 150 runs off 64 balls. AB did this feat against the West Indies in the 2015 World Cup match. Vaibhav achieved this feat against Arunachal Pradesh in just 54 balls. He also hit 154 runs with only fours and sixes in Vaibhav’s innings of 190 runs. This is the highest score in a single innings with fours and sixes in the history of List A cricket.

Most sixes in List A cricket

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has hit a total of 15 sixes during his innings of 190 runs. This also makes him the second most six-hitting batsman in the 58-year history of List A cricket. Sri Lanka’s KIC holds the record for most sixes in a single List A match. The deposit is in the name of Alasanka. He hit 16 sixes in an unbeaten innings of 206 in the Colombo vs Jaffna match played at Dambulla in June 2024.
