MUMBAI Mumbai. Actor Vijay Deverakonda on Friday attended a college fest in Mumbai to promote his upcoming music video Sahiba, but he got injured after falling down the stairs at the venue. A video of the incident has now gone viral on the internet, in which Vijay can be seen slipping and falling down the stairs, losing his balance. Vijay on Friday visited the cultural fest of Mithibai College in Mumbai to promote his upcoming song, which also stars Radhika Madan. While leaving the venue, the actor was being taken out by his team when he slipped and fell down several stairs, but was unable to recover. It is noteworthy that a few days ago, Vijay suffered a shoulder injury on the sets of his upcoming film VD 12. He was injured while shooting an intense action sequence, and is currently taking a break from shooting the film and undergoing physiotherapy and rehab.

Meanwhile, Jasleen Royal has sung the love track titled Sahiba and this is the first time Vijay will be seen sharing the screen with Radhika. Vijay said, “It has been an absolute pleasure to work on Sahiba. Jasleen's vision and passion for music is truly inspiring. I believe this song will touch many hearts and I am honored to be a part of it. ” On the other hand, his film VD 12 is said to be a gangster drama and is being directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. In November 2023, it was reported that Rashmika Mandanna has replaced actress Sreeleela in VD12. However, there is no confirmation regarding the lead actress of the film.
