Why is the film stuck in censor?
During this entire matter, the future of the film ‘Jana Nayagan’ is hanging in the balance. Regarding ‘Jana Nayagan’, it was revealed that there is something in it that hurts the sentiments of the minority community. Apart from this, there were many things in the film on which the censor had objections. In such a situation, the path of giving certificate to the film became difficult. When ‘Jana Nayagan’ did not get any support from the Censor Board, the makers approached the court. KVN Production House filed a petition in the Madras High Court on 6 January. In the petition, the makers of the film said that there could be a loss of around Rs 500 crore due to the delay in the release of ‘Jana Nayagan’. Since then, this matter has reached the Supreme Court via Madras High Court. Now it remains to be seen what decision the Madras High Court takes on this by January 20.
