Villagers and ward number 4 member rejected the allegations of false defamation in family land dispute in Sipachra of Shribhoomi district.
Shribhoomi- The villagers and Ward No. 4 member have completely rejected the allegations made regarding family land dispute in Sipachra of Shribhoomi district. Villagers and ward members of Ward No. 4 of Sipachhra village of Dullabhchhra Gram Panchayat of Dullabhchhra block development area under Shribhoomi district jointly addressed the press and termed the allegations leveled against them as baseless. According to the information received, Ranju Teli, a resident of the same village, had complained to the media that Deep Narayan Gwala, Milan Teli and Tinku Mala were involved in the family land dispute.
However, the villagers and the concerned ward member say that this matter is purely a family matter and the allegations leveled against them are false, baseless and purposeful. He also claims that the allegations of indecent behavior and mental harassment are completely fabricated. According to the villagers, Ram Shankar Teli has not taken any kind of possession on the disputed land. Due to the problem of water logging, many years ago they started living on the upper mound, which has been said to be their ancestral property. The villagers allege that currently Ranju Teli is trying to take over the said land. In this regard, a copy of the decision of the meeting held on February 17 (Tuesday) in the community hall of ward number 4 will be submitted to the police station.
Senior villagers present in the meeting told that as per the land distribution among the ancestors, Ram Shankar Teli’s father and Ranju Teli’s father had received different shares. The land over which the dispute has arisen at present is the ancestral share of Ram Shankar Teli. He also says that his family has been in rightful possession of this land for many years. Gram Panchayat member Tinku Mala told the media that an attempt is being made to deliberately implicate him, Deep Narayan Goyala and Milan Teli in a false case regarding the land dispute. He said that the matter is completely a family matter and he has no information in this regard. He also said that he always stands with the village people in their happiness and sorrow. He talked about filing a defamation case against the false allegations.
He also mentioned that cutting of the precious betel nut tree is completely unfair and should be investigated impartially. It was also told in the meeting that Ranju Teli was married in Ichabile and after the death of her husband, she came to live in her maternal home. A section of villagers allege that the dispute over land started only after this. Ram Shankar Teli said that he did not cut any tree and the case registered against him is completely baseless. They allege that they are being tortured by being implicated in many false cases. The villagers have demanded a fair investigation and legal solution from the administration. There is a situation of tension in the area regarding the incident. The villagers are waiting for a just resolution of the matter.
