Process of selection of new national president started in NSUI

Ranchi: The tenure of NSUI National President Varun Chaudhary has ended, due to which the selection process for the new National President has started. 62 candidates from across the country had submitted applications for this post. After the scrutiny process, 15 of these candidates have been selected. Current state president of Jharkhand NSUI Vinay Oraon is also included in the selected candidates.

Vinay Oraon: First tribal candidate

Vinay Oraon is the first and only tribal candidate in the country who has participated in this selection process. All 15 candidates were interviewed by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and NSUI national in-charge Kanhaiya Kumar in New Delhi. During the interview, Rahul Gandhi also did a personal interview of Vinay Oraon, which is considered an important opportunity for him.

Preparation for Rajya Sabha elections

Meanwhile, elections for 37 Rajya Sabha seats are going to be held on March 16. This contest is likely to be very exciting in Bihar and West Bengal, due to which political movements have intensified. The selection of the new President of NSUI will come at this crucial time, which will play an important role in determining the future of the organization.
