According to the report, after the investigation by the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), it has been claimed that Monalisa has been found to be a minor. After this, serious legal action has started against Farman Khan. An FIR has been registered against him under the POCSO Act at Maheshwar police station in Madhya Pradesh.

The investigation was conducted under the leadership of NCST Chairman Antar Singh Arya. It claimed that the documents and birth certificates used in the respective marriages were examined.

What did the investigation reveal?

According to the report, the investigation team examined the records of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh and concluded that the date of birth was tampered with. On the basis of Maheshwar government records and hospital documents, it was claimed that Monalisa was a minor at the time of marriage.

In this matter, the police have registered a case under the POCSO Act as well as SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act and other sections. Many documents from Madhya Pradesh and Kerala were examined in the investigation. Officials say inconsistencies have been found in the birth certificate and registration records, which are being investigated further. At present the matter is under serious legal investigation and the concerned agencies are preparing a detailed report of the entire incident.
