At the closing ceremony of the program, Dinesh Pratap Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Export, ended his address with the slogan of “Jai Shri Ram”. Minister of State for Horticulture Dinesh Pratap Singh attended the Horticulture Upgradation Seminar as the chief guest at the Kennedy Hall of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The program was to commemorate the Prime Minister’s completion of 12 years in the Central Government. The nine-year tenure of the Chief Minister in the state government was also completed. This seminar was organized to celebrate both these important achievements.

The Minister of State visited the University Museum and Maulana Azad Library. He praised the efforts of the university to preserve historical heritage. Dinesh Pratap Singh described this work as highly praiseworthy. He said that it is very important to preserve the history and pass it on to the new generation. In the museum he observed many rare historical heritages including the ancient statue of Gautam Buddha.
