Ticket Checking Issue : These days, a video is going viral on social media, in which a passenger has accused TTE of not giving the ticket after taking money. According to the video, a passenger had paid Rs 425 for a sleeper ticket in a train going from Banaras to New Delhi.
It is alleged that even after taking the money, the TTE did not issue the ticket and sat in the AC coach. When the passenger questioned this, an argument started with the train staff.

TTE did not give ticket even after taking money
It can be seen in the video that the passenger goes after the TTE in the 2AC coach and says that even after taking the money, the ticket was not given. During this, an alleged railway staff accuses him of theft in 1AC.
On hearing the allegation, the passenger becomes more angry and a heated argument begins between the two. The passenger says that he was also pushed and shoved. When the train stops, he makes a video of the staff and TTE and asks to make the matter public.

People demanded transparency in railways
The video was posted on Instagram on February 2 and has been viewed by thousands of people so far. People are giving different reactions in the comment section. Some users are demanding transparency in Railways, while some are asking to avoid reaching any conclusion without thorough investigation.
Experts say that in such a situation, the passenger should always take the receipt and keep the proof of payment safe. Also, by noting down the name of the TTE, badge number and train information, a complaint should be lodged on the official website or helpline of the Railways.
