On the eve of the much-awaited Boxing Day Test, the former Indian captain and his wife were seen soaking in the festive atmosphere and enjoying breakfast at a local restaurant. Dressed in a pink oversized T-shirt and gray jeans, Virat Kohli looked content after a hearty breakfast on the festival day.
The Melbourne cafe expressed its gratitude to Virat Kohli and revealed how the Indian cricket superstar personally stepped into the kitchen to thank the chef and posed for pictures with him. The cafe said that they were not sure whether they would be open on public holidays or not, but they were pleasantly surprised by the star couple's visit.
The cafe wrote on Instagram, “This morning, when we were considering whether to keep the cafe open even on a public holiday, we had no idea that we would have the King @ViratKohli in our little cafe. It's going to be an amazing experience serving @AnushkaSharma and her family.”
“Virat sir was so kind as he stepped into our kitchen, thanked the cooks and allowed us to take pictures with him,” the post read.
