Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s New Year celebration, first post of 2026 created a stir on the internet
Desk : Star cricketer Virat Kohli shared a wonderful picture of the New Year celebrated in Dubai with his wife Anushka Sharma on social media before 2026, which took the internet by storm. In this picture, both Virat and Anushka were seen in very stylish clothes – Virat wore a navy blue suit, while Anushka chose a black dress.

Virat and Anushka were joined by their families for this New Year bash. Virat’s brother Vikas Kohli also shared some pictures from the party. In one of the pictures, Virat was seen posing with his father-in-law, brother and brother-in-law. Vikas captioned this picture as “The Boys”. Another picture showed the entire family posing together, including Anushka’s mother, Virat’s sister Bhavana, and sister-in-law Chetna. Virat’s nephew and niece were also seen in this photo.
On New Year’s Eve, Virat shared an adorable picture with Anushka and wrote, “Stepping into 2026 with the light of my life, @anushkasharma.” In the picture, Virat and Anushka were seen smiling, and had mischievous paint on their faces – Virat had a Spider-Man design on his face, while Anushka had a butterfly design around her eyes.
Talking about Virat Kohli’s cricket career, he recently performed brilliantly in two Vijay Hazare Trophy matches. Virat scored 208 runs at an average of 104.00 and a strike rate of 128, which included 131 runs in 101 balls against Andhra Pradesh and a quickfire 77 runs in 61 balls against Gujarat. Virat’s return to VHT after 15 years has also seen him completing many milestones. He crossed the 1,000-run mark in the history of the tournament and also became the first Indian to reach the milestone of 16,000 runs in List A cricket after Sachin Tendulkar.
Talking about Virat’s return to the 50-over format, after a poor start with two ducks against Australia in November, he is now back in great form. Starting with an unbeaten 74* in the Sydney ODI, Virat has scored 584 runs for India in six innings at an average of 146.00, which included three centuries and three fifties. Now all eyes are on Virat to see when he will be in the team when India starts the three-match ODI series against New Zealand from January 11.
