Apart from Virat Kohli (0/9) and KL Rahul (0/6), Sarfaraz Khan also couldn’t open his account. Sarfaraz, who has been in spectacular form in domestic cricket, faced just 3 balls before giving a catch to Devon Conway in Matt Henry’s over.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma was also disappointed by carelessly throwing away his wicket after scoring just 2 runs. His opening partner Yashaswi Jaiswal showed a bit of hope for the team but soon went out by adding 13 runs after facing 63 deliveries.
When Ravindra Jadeja also couldn’t add a single run to his account before getting out, India fell to one of their worst performances in recent history.
