BCCI had expected the international players to play at least two Vijay Hazare Trophy matches and both the players fulfilled this condition. Virat Kohli scored 131 and 77 against Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat respectively, while Rohit Sharma played a brilliant inning of 155 against Sikkim. However, while playing against Uttarakhand, Rohit was out on the very first ball.
The third match is being played today
Delhi’s third match is against Saurashtra at the Karnataka Cricket Association (KSCA) Stadium, Aloor, while the Mumbai team is playing against Chhattisgarh at the Jaipuria Vidyalaya Ground, Jaipur. Even before this match, Rohit and Virat have left their team. He is now spending time with his family.
Virat Kohli can be seen playing against Railways
According to a Cricbuzz report, Virat Kohli will play for Delhi on January 6 in the match against Railways, which will be his second last match of the tournament. After this, he will join the Indian team to participate in the three-match ODI series against New Zealand starting from January 11. At the same time, Rohit Sharma will not play any more matches in this tournament. In the first week of January, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja will also play two matches each for their respective state teams.

Team for ODI series will be announced on January 4
The Indian team for the ODI series against New Zealand will be announced on January 4. Shubman Gill will be seen captaining the Indian team in the ODI series. The three-match ODI series against New Zealand will start from January 11. The first match will be played in Vadodara. The second match will be played on 14th in Rajkot and the third match will be played on 18th in Indore. After the ODI series, a five-match T20 series will be played.
