New Delhi: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma appear to have expanded their real estate holdings with a new luxurious property. Their vacation residence in Alibaug has been beautifully decorated, reportedly in preparation for their grihpravesh ritual. A video showcasing the ornately adorned entrance has recently surfaced online.

On January 15, multiple videos from Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s Alibaug residence started circulating on the internet. In an earlier video shared by a paparazzo, individuals were seen loading bags filled with puja items onto the ferry to Alibaug. The following shot shows a priest seated on the ferry. “Virushka’s dream house is built in Alibaug and it’s time for pooja, We snapped Pandit Ji Today as he is off to a new home greh Pravesh Pooja, Virat Anushka while in India will be staying here. It’s their dream house. Akaay and Vamika are also joining Pooja (sic),” read the caption.

Later in the day, a video surfaced showcasing the beautifully adorned gates of their bungalow. The gates, decorated with garlands, suggested the presence of a significant ceremony. Reports suggest that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli plan to make their Alibaug property their primary residence, replacing their Mumbai home in Worli’s Omkar 1973.

Earlier in the year, Virat Kohli revealed his retirement from T20 cricket after the ICC World Cup 2024. During a media interaction, the former captain shared his intention to step back from the limelight to spend more quality time with his family. Following this, he made a swift departure from India after the World Cup victory, apparently to reunite with Anushka and their children in London.
