Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma turn heads at Women’s T20 World Cup match
Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, once again served couple goals as they were spotted cheering on India’s women’s team at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
On Sunday, June 29, the 37-year-old cricketer and the 38-year-old actress made a striking appearance together at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground as India faced Australia in a crucial Group A fixture.
During the high-intensity match, Kohli and Sharma were seen watching the game alongside former India head coach Ravi Shastri, former opener Shikhar Dhawan, and his partner, Sophie Shine.
The celebrity couple appeared in high spirits as they rooted for Team India during Harmanpreet Kaur’s side’s must-win clash against Australia, applauding every crucial moment.
For the sporting event, Kohli kept it smart-casual in a brown shirt paired with white trousers.
Meanwhile, the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress looked elegant in a sleeveless dress, flats, and a cap.
Adding to the excitement, the International Cricket Council (ICC) shared Instagram photos of the parents of two alongside Shastri, Dhawan, and Shine posing together in the stands.
However, the vocal support from the stands could not change the outcome, as Australia defeated India by six wickets in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Group A fixture, ending Kaur’s side’s campaign.
What was Virat Kohli up to before this appearance?
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s appearance at Lord’s came just days after Kohli’s team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title by defeating the Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final. The victory marked RCB’s second consecutive IPL championship under captain Rajat Patidar.
