According to a report by Fanatic Sports and Hurun, Virat Kohli has become the highest paid player in IPL history. Virat Kohli, who has been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team for 19 years, has earned approximately Rs 230 crore so far and is at the top of the list. Also, the total valuation of all 10 IPL franchises is Rs 1.63 lakh crore.

Virat Kohli is the richest player of IPL
Virat Kohli tops the list of richest IPL players. He has been playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) since 2008 and has earned Rs 230 crores so far. He is also the league’s biggest star in terms of brand value.
Rohit and Dhoni’s bumper earnings
Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma is second in the list with an income of Rs 227.2 crore. Whereas, Mahendra Singh Dhoni of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is at the third position with an income of Rs.200 crores. Dhoni is a major commercial icon of Indian cricket and IPL.
The value of this franchise is the highest
Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team is valued at Rs 19,200 crore, making it the most valuable IPL franchise in the country. After this, Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are at the second and third positions. The valuation of both the teams is approximately Rs 18,400 crore. The total valuation of all 10 IPL franchises has now reached Rs 1.63 lakh crore.
Mandhana tops in women’s cricket
Despite earning crores of rupees in IPL, other players still lag behind in this list. In women’s cricket, Smriti Mandhana is the highest paid player. She topped the list with an earnings of Rs 13.7 crore. The top 10 women cricketers in the country have a combined earnings of Rs 90 crore, which is less than half of Virat Kohli’s IPL earnings of Rs 230 crore. In other sports the gap is even greater.
Harmanpreet is the highest paid player in hockey
The difference is even more pronounced in the case of hockey, the country’s national sport. According to reports, defender Harmanpreet Singh is the highest paid player in the Hockey India League with a salary of Rs 78 lakh. He is followed by forward Abhishek Nain with an income of Rs 72 lakh and midfielder Hardik Singh with an income of Rs 70 lakh.
