Kohli signed the match ball for the bowler during the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26. Kohli was at his best in the second match, scoring 77 runs off 61 deliveries.

“From watching him dominate world cricket to sharing the same field and taking his wicket is a moment I never imagined would turn into reality. Getting the wicket of Virat Bhai is something I’ll cherish forever. Just grateful for the opportunity, the journey, and everything this beautiful game has given me,” Jayswal wrote in the caption on his social media handles.
Jayswal also got rid of Delhi captain Rishabh Pant, Arpit Rana and Nitish Rana to register match figures of 4/42 from his 10 overs. Delhi were restricted to 254/9 in 50 overs. However, Gujarat failed to reach the target and were dismissed for 247 in 47.7 overs, falling short by 7 runs.
