Upon Team India’s arrival at the Melbourne airport following a draw in Brisbane, star batter Virat Kohli was involved in a heated exchange with a few journalists. The 36-year-old reportedly wasn’t happy to see him and his family members being captured by the media.

Kohli lost his cool seeing journalists trying to click pictures of his kids at the airport. However, later on he discovered that it was only a misunderstanding.

According to reports, Australian journalists were taking an interview of pacer Scott Boland when Kohli and his family were also spotted at the airport. The cameras shifted towards the Indian cricketer’s family, seeing which he wasn’t happy at all.

Kohli then got in a heated argument with a TV reporter from Channel 7 as he wasn’t happy due to his privacy not being respected by the media.

“It was upon seeing the waiting cameras that Kohli became a little heated over what is largely a misunderstanding when he thought the media was filming him with his children,” a reporter at the airport said on 7NEWS.

“With my kids I need some privacy, you can’t film without asking me,” Kohli could be heard saying.

However, the situation never really escalated as Kohli was soon assured that his family wasn’t being filmed. The batter reportedly also shook hands with a Channel 7 cameraman after he was satisfied that his privacy wasn’t breached by the media.
