Virat Kohli was shocked by the death of his fellow player, said – may his soul rest in peace

Cricketer Amanpreet Singh Gill Passes Away : Virat Kohli’s Under-19 teammate Amanpreet Singh Gill passed away at the age of 36 in Chandigarh. The cause of death of the former India U-19 and Punjab medium pacer is not yet known. But, Kohli is shocked to hear the news of Amanpreet’s death. He has prayed for the peace of the soul of the deceased.

Punjab’s medium pacer Amanpreet Gill played six first-class matches for Punjab, in which he took 11 wickets. He was also a part of the Punjab franchise (Kings XI Punjab) in the first season of the Indian Premier League, and later served as a member of Punjab’s senior selection committee. Virat Kohli condoled the demise of Amanpreet Singh Gill through an ex-post on Thursday. Kohli wrote on

Indian team’s all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who won the World Cup twice, also paid tribute to Gill. Yuvraj posted on Instagram, “Very sad to hear the demise of Amanpreet Singh Gill. We shared the dressing room in our early days; he was a quiet, hard-working cricketer who loved the game very much. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.”
