Virat’s magic will not be seen in Chinnaswamy Stadium
M Chinnaswamy Stadium is the home ground of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and Virat Kohli has been one of the biggest favorite players of the fans here. However, 11 people were killed in a stampede outside the stadium after RCB’s victory in IPL 2025. After this incident, any kind of matches were banned at Chinnaswamy Stadium due to security reasons.
However, the Karnataka government had indicated to the Karnataka Cricket Association that if all security arrangements were met, the matches could be allowed. On this basis, after Virat Kohli’s decision to play Vijay Hazare Trophy, the matches to be held in Aloor, Delhi were shifted to Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Venue changed after government order
Some time ago it was also reported that there will be a ban on entry of spectators into Chinnaswamy Stadium. Now according to the report of Cricbuzz, after the new order of the Karnataka government, all the matches to be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium have been shifted to the BCCI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. This information was given to KSCA on Tuesday morning, after which the respective teams were informed about the new venue. After this decision, Virat Kohli will no longer be seen playing in the Chinnaswamy Stadium, which has dealt a big blow to the expectations of the fans.
