Delhi: Great batsman Virat Kohli has achieved another historic achievement in T20 cricket. Kohli left England’s explosive batsman Alex Hales behind in this matter. Now Virat has a record of making partnerships of more than 50 runs 211 times in T20 cricket, while Alex Hales has reached second place with 210 partnerships. This figure shows that Kohli is not limited to just individual performance, but also changes the direction of the match by building strong partnerships for the team.
Great start with Venkatesh Iyer
Royal Challengers Bangalore had a fast start to chase the big target of 256 runs given by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Virat Kohli and Venkatesh Iyer added 60 runs for the first wicket. In this partnership, Venkatesh Iyer showed aggressive style and put pressure on the bowlers in the powerplay.
Venkatesh played an explosive inning of 44 runs in just 19 balls. His innings included four fours and four sixes. He increased the excitement of the match by batting at a strike rate of more than 231. On the other hand, Virat Kohli scored 15 runs in 11 balls. Saqib Hussain made him his victim.
